For Khloe and Murray, I completed a bespoke deck and outdoor space extension at their Auckland property, transforming their backyard into a multi-functional, aesthetically pleasing environment. Scope of Work
The project involved a significant restructuring of the property’s landscape. Working alongside our experienced partner, GM Groundworks Ltd., we began by removing the existing retaining wall and excavating into the slope to optimise the usable outdoor area. After the initial groundwork, we installed a robust new retaining wall reaching up to 1.5m high, engineered for durability and stability.
Once the foundation was set, we expanded the deck area significantly, incorporating wide steps that seamlessly connect the deck to the back lawn, enhancing the flow between different parts of the garden. To complete the transformation, we constructed a custom pergola with clear corrugated plastic roofing, offering a sheltered area for year-round enjoyment. The end result is a beautifully integrated outdoor space that combines style, functionality, and durability—perfect for everything from summer barbecues to evening relaxation.
